Instructions

  1. Place clean photocopy paper over the top of the sheet with the image on for protection and firmly roll the paper for around 30 seconds, longer for images larger than A4.
  2. You may use a rolling pin, we recommend wrapping it in clingfilm in case of overspill.
  3. During rolling if there is seepage from the sides of the sheet, blot this with white paper towels.
  4. Remove the top sheet of protective photocopy paper.
  5. Lift the fabric with the image still attached to ensure it has not stuck to the protective layer underneath.
  6. Allow to dry, ideally overnight .
  7. Drying time will vary according to the amount of paste used and ambient temperature, but will usually take 4-6 hours.
  8. Once the sheet is dry, it will be stuck to the fabric and needs to be removed.
  9. Wet a cloth or sponge, so it is soaked but not dripping and place it on top of the paper and allow the water to soak into the page.
  10. Once the water has soaked into the paper you may remove it by genly rubbing it with your finger or a moist paper towel, sponge or cloth.
  11. Don’t rush this part of the process; it quite time consuming removing the paper but patience will be rewarded with better results.
  12. Using fingers to remove the paper gives the clearest results, using a cloth can give a more “distressed” finish.
  13. It is worth letting the cloth with the transferred image on dry out slightly so you can see where paper fibres still adhere to, it, then genly wet it again with a cloth or sponge and continue to rub until all the paper is removed.
  14. Once finished allow your creation to dry completely.
  15. The finished item may be hand washed carefully in cool water.
  16. Do not iron the image and do not dry clean.

WARNING: Wash hands thoroughly if product comes into contact with skin. Not suitable for children under 8 years. For use under adult supervision.
